Suitable for self-built wooden wine rooms and Thermocold's own element cooling rooms from 2-12,000 litres (2-12 m3).

The heating element switches on when the temperature in the wine-room drops below the set storage temperature.

The unit has a dust filter for quick and easy maintenance.

In order to achieve optimal performance and for the product guarantee to last, it is required that the room is built in accordance with the minimum standard for self-built cold rooms, where requirements are set for insulation in floors, walls and ceilings, as well as a humitdity barrier. Recommended insulation is at least 10 cm with insulation / stone wool in walls, ceilings and floors. The humidity barrier must always be on the warm side of the insulation. Ventilation against exterior walls min. 5 cm. There must be no diffusion-tight materials inside the cold room. An approved cold room door is also required. Glass panels or glass doors in the room require a different calculation of performance. Also note the ambient temperature of the unit in the application area. At lower temperatures, which can occur in e.g. cold basements, garages etc. you need winter control for the device to function optimally and not be damaged.   

Please note: The unit must be installed on an interior wall. New installations must be mounted with plastic cover or ventilation greats. This is purchased separately.

As a standard, the Thermocold EC10 comes installed on the left side of the wine room but this can be changed upon request.
